We are looking for a hands on ABAP Developer with strong debugging skills to build and enhance ABAP based solutions that integrate with the ReleaseOwl platform and our customers SAP systems.
Role Summary :
This role will support the development of ReleaseOwl capabilities around template protection, transport governance, and cross-version migration automation in SAP landscapes. The engineer will work on ABAP-heavy technical analysis for object comparison, dependency mapping, retrofit logic, and release-aware migration support for scenarios such as SAP S/4HANA 2021 to 2025.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem solving in complex SAP landscapes, debugging tricky issues end to end, and wants to work in a product based environment rather than pure implementation projects.

Required Skills and Experience
· 5–6 years of strong ABAP development experience in SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments
· Hands-on experience with SAP transport management, retrofit, version comparison, object dependency analysis, and release governance
· Strong understanding of SAP repository objects, enhancement frameworks, DDIC objects, classes, programs, function modules, and configuration-linked transports
· Experience working on cross-release upgrade or migration scenarios, ideally involving S/4HANA version changes and object compatibility assessment
· Familiarity with custom development protection, template governance, transport controls, and conflict identification across landscapes
· Ability to work on technical design, object comparison logic, metadata interpretation, automation rules, and migration support utilities
· Good exposure to APIs, integration-based tooling, and product/engineering collaboration for enterprise DevOps or release automation platforms
